This semester, I learned a lot of things from integrated skills, writing and grammar classes. From Integrated skills class, I learned past tense grammar. For example, I was born in Saudi Arabia. Also I learned adverbs of quantity. Like, there are too many cares, or there should be fewer cars. Addition, I learned evaluations and comparisons. For instance, apartments aren't big enough for families. Also, I learned, simple past and present prefect. For example, have you ever eaten Mexican food? or did you like them? From writing and grammar class, I learned how I write great paragraph. Also, I learned how I write topic sentence. For example, many people prefer spot cars for different reason. Other, I learned how I write concluding sentence. Usually the concluding sentence similar to topic sentence. Addition, I learned where I should put the comma in the paragraph. If you have more than one example should I put comma. For example, both cities also spring, summer, fall, and winter. And, I learned a comma splice occurs when I have two or more sentences are connected. For example, computer programs can help students learn a foreign language, so many students use the language programs in the computer. Addition, I learned a sentence fragments is not complete sentence. It is usually missing a subject or a verb. Like, was a wonderful trip. (missing subject). I learned a capitalization and end punctuation. 1-The situation to capitalization is always capitalize the first word of a sentence. For example, Today is not Sunday. 2- Always capitalize the word I. Like, Fahad and I are happy. 3- Capitalize proper nouns names of specific people, places, names of countries, or things. For example, I'm from Saudi Arabia. 4- Capitalize titles of works, such as books, movies, and pieces. For instance, The King and I.
I learned many things, like how to write aparagraphs, some reading skills, and some grammar. first, I learned in integrated skills class, when and how can I ues the past tenese and used to. For example, I was born in Saudi Aeabia. Example for used to, I used to play football in Saudi Arabia. And also I learned adverbs and quantity with count and noncount nouns. For exaple, too many, too much, fewer, more, not enough. I remember my teacher Josh's told me one thing for this unit, he told me if I said too many or too much that's mean negative or bad thing. For example, there are too many parking in University of Montana. it's mean surplus of parking, on a nother way the University wasted money for nothing, it's good point to learned it. After that, I learned evaluations and comparisons with adjective and nouns. for example, 1)-adjective: aprtments are too small for pets. 2)-nouns: hous cost too much money. Next, I learned simple past and present perfect. For example, have you ever slept in desert. Finally, there are more and more things I learned it. It well be take more than day to write it.
I don't want count many small grammar things which I learned this summer. It's so boring. I think Mohammed told enough about our everyday's study. Summer semester more interesting because we started more understand in English and feel more free when we make conversation. Certainly, without spring semester this our skills couldn't be improve so succesfully. We have to say thanks our teachers, which learned us in the spring. It is introduction. Personally for me, summer semester are becoming step to understanding English more easily using new methods which I learned. First, I became fill in my vocabulary faster than ever before, because our teachers stopped to use simple English and I discovered many new words for myself. Moreover, I became to memorise and to use whole phrases. For example, "unless", "as a result", "as...as", "used to" etc.. Second, I understood what is it the keys words in the sentence and how I can use them for understanding conversation. For instance, "In the evening we went to the Anderson Hall". I can listen words "evening", "went", and "Anderson Hall". I can understand the meaning this sentence. Third, now we became to work more hardly than in past. It seen how many homework we are preparing every day, and many information we accept in class. I can't to show example, but I see my old note books and new few. Finally, now we can write more not only grammatically correct, but more definitely. It became possible after our learning unit "Paragraph". You can see it when I am writing this text. Unfortunately, I couldn't continue my studying in the fall semester and learn more, but this semester improve my skills very well. Many methods which I know now will help me in the future.
